Pin Practiced - Clean Mud

This was REALLY fun!

We made this while I was "in between" sensory bins.  The Fall stuff was ready to come out, but it wasn't quite time for "Winter" yet.  We used the empty bin to make "Clean Mud"!  We had all of the supplies on hand and there was no wait time...perfect!

I used my food processor to shred a bar of Ivory soap.  The kids had a RIOT helping me shred a couple of rolls of toilet paper, and I added the hot tap water.  After a while, these happy faces called this Pin a success!

(Sorry for the less-than-stellar cell phone camera pic!)

The bigger 2 (ages 3 and 5) spent a good 45 minutes to an hour engaged in this.  I had to remove the baby (age 18 months) because he didn't know to not rub his eyes with soapy hands.  Even with the small mess to clean up, it did double duty cleaning my kitchen floor!  Bonus!

Total Cost: FREE!
Will This Pin Be Practiced Again?: YES!
Original Pin Board: Honestly, this showed up in my feed and I just did it right then and there!  It is now pinned at the link above :)

Practicing What I Pin

I am starting this blog because I am kinda obsessed with Pinterest.  Have you never heard of it?  It is basically a virtual pin board that you can "pin" any idea you find on the internet.  Like bookmarks, but smarter and more social.  You can follow people and people can follow you.  Amazing ideas are out there in internet-land and this is a great way to find them.

My intent with this blog is to pin things I love, then DO THEM and blog about my results.  Here are my boards on Pinterest.  I hope you enjoy!
